FlightSim planner is a Preflight, route preparation and live tracking VFR Flight navigation app that can be used both in the air (using buildin GPS) and on the ground connected to your favorite flight simulator via a special piece of server software that can be downloaded from our website. It uses vector (openstreetmap based) tiles for the basemap. You can add the charts from the openflightmaps project as wel as several other suppliers (including AAF sectional charts) or geo-reference your own airport or arrival charts. For all the charts a tile-cache is maintained so they will be available when offline as well. The navigation database holds up to 50000 different airports, navaids and airspaces that can be downloaded in the app. The app has a complete routing engine with full time, distance, angle and windcorrection calculations. Retrieve the Metars, Tafs and Notams for all the airports around your location.
All map, aviation and navigation data is retrieved from public sources. We can not guarantee the correctness of this data.
